The wall of an above-ground pool is often made of galvanized steel. It's designed to hold over 90,000 liters of water while the pool is in place, so it needs to be robust. Galvanized steel is corrugated and coated with vinyl or another material. The more layers the steel has, the more durable it is.
The frame secures the wall and reinforces the pool.
The top rails form the upper edge of the pool. The rails connect each post and are durable.
The liner hanger passes between the wall and the upper rails. It is called a “liner hanger”. It holds the pool liner and the wall in place.
The uprights are support posts for the top and the frame.
The vinyl liner covers the inside of the pool. The liner is specifically designed to fit your pool.
The skimmer is an opening located near the top of the pool, where it filters out some debris before the water passes through your filter. It captures floating debris. It often has a flap that keeps the floating debris inside the skimmer and away from the surface of your pool. Inside the skimmer is a basket that you can empty. Keeping the basket empty will help your pool filter operate at its best. You can also connect a pool vacuum to the skimmer.
The pump and filter should be located near the pool and connected to the skimmer, where the water is drawn in and filtered before returning to the pool. The Garden Leisure pool is equipped with a sand filter. You must backwash the pool when the pressure gauge reading is too high. Backwashing involves reversing the flow of water through the filter media to remove debris.
