An aluminum pergola is easier to maintain and much more durable than other models made of wood or wrought iron (an aluminum pergola doesn't rust). What are the prerequisites?
First, the pergola must be anchored to the ground on a concrete slab or concrete blocks, onto which external mounting plates will be attached. The surface must also be perfectly level.

A very simple installation of your pergola
Assembling the R-Sun pergola kit is very simple. All the holes are pre-drilled before delivery, each package is numbered, and an assembly manual with complete diagrams explains each step of the process.

Options to enhance your aluminum pergola
Beyond the 4-post (freestanding) or 2-post (attached to a wall) configuration, your pergola can include various options to enhance your comfort:
- Indirect LED lighting: lighting directed towards the pergola's slats, creating a warm atmosphere and allowing you to enjoy the evening for relaxation or to entertain guests without being blinded by overly powerful light.
- Direct LED lighting: This type of lighting consists of one or more modules, fixed directly to the roof frame, which provide direct illumination of the terrace for enjoying outdoor moments. All lights come with a 2-year warranty.
- Vertical blinds: The structure can consist of one or more vertical blinds, ideal for privacy from a close neighbor thanks to its micro-perforated fabric that allows visibility from the inside out, but not the other way around. This material also offers UV protection, as well as protection from rain and wind. An added bonus? The motor includes obstacle detection when the blind is being lowered. Vertical blinds come with a 5-year warranty.
- Post heights up to 3m: the standard measurement being 2.50m, if you want a greater height for your pergola, it is quite possible for us to manufacture custom-made posts up to 3m high.
